Custom Botanical Dye Service

Send me something you love and I'll transform it.

This is a custom botanical dye service. You ship me a piece, I dye it by hand using natural plant pigments, and ship it back to you. The result is a one-of-a-kind, wearable object with colour that could only have come from this process. This service is for garments and textiles made from 100% natural fibres only — silk, cotton, linen, wool, or rayon. Synthetic fabrics and blends will not take botanical dye and cannot be accepted.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Purchase the "size" option that best matches your piece
2. You will receive a confirmation email with the shipping address
3. Pack and ship your item — please include your name and order number inside the package
4. I dye your piece by hand and ship it back within 2-3 weeks of receiving it

Every piece is unique: colour, pattern, and depth will vary based on the fabric, its weight, and how it takes the dye

WHAT TO EXPECT

Botanical dyes are living colour fluid, instinctive, and quietly expressive. I work with pigments drawn from plants, flowers, roots, and bark. You can share colour references or a general mood and I will do my best to honour them, but the nature of the process means results are never fully predictable. That unpredictability is part of the beauty.

Colours may shift subtly over time with washing and sunlight, this is a feature, not a flaw.

SIZE GUIDE

Small / Medium - scarves, bandanas, small tops, blouses (up to approx. 1 yard of fabric)

Medium - dresses, jumpsuits, larger tops, wide trousers (approx. 2 yards of fabric) 

Large -coats, full sets, oversized garments, home textiles (approx. 2+ yards of fabric)

If you are unsure which size to choose, feel free to reach out before purchasing.

IMPORTANT

Please do not ship anything you are not prepared to part with permanently. While I treat every piece with care, natural dye is irreversible. Returns are not accepted on custom dye orders once dyeing has begun.
